A Singaporean company has been granted approval to supply four shipments of 92 Unl octane (unleaded gasoline) petrol over a period of 4 months from September 21 (2023) to January 21 (2024) .
Earlier bids were called from suppliers registered under the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation.
Four companies had submitted bids.
A proposal presented by the Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera to grant the procurement order to Vitol Asia Company.
