The G.C.E. (Advanced Level) examination has been further postponed due to adverse weather conditions until December 4, the Commissioner General of Examinations Amith Jayasundara said.
The exam was initially postponed for three days, but has been further postponed for another three days, Mr Jayasundara told a press conference.
He said that the subjects for the six postponed days (November 27 to December 3) will take place from December 21 to December 31, excluding Sunday.
Meanwhile the Law College entrance examination as well as the exam to recruit senior statisticians and statisticians due to be held over the weekend has also been postponed.
Rescheduled dates for postponed exams:
- Exams originally scheduled for Wednesday, November 27 will be held on Saturday, December 21.
- Exams originally scheduled for Thursday, November 28 will be held on Monday, December 23.
- Exams originally scheduled for Friday, November 29 will be held on Friday, December 27.
- Exams originally scheduled for Saturday, November 30 will be held on Saturday, December 28.
- Exams originally scheduled for Monday, December 2 will be held on Monday, December 30.
- Exams originally scheduled for Tuesday, December 3 will be held on Tuesday, December 31.
