The funeral of Sri Lanka's first Test Captain, former coach and administrator Bandula Warnapura was held at the Borella General Cemetery this evening.
Mr Warnapura passed away yesterday at the age of 68 while being treated at a private hospital in Colombo.
A large number of mourners attended the funeral, including many former cricketers who represented Sri Lanka at the international level. Many also served as pallbearers for Mr Warnapura's coffin.
