A pangolin who had wandered into a house in Saliyawewa was captured by officers from the Department of Wildlife Conservation's (DWC) Karuwalagaswewa office and released into the Wilpattu National Park today.
The pangolin is listed as an endangered species. The pangolin that was released this morning is about three and a half feet in length, DWC officers said.
