Teachers and principals held a protest march in Vavuniya town yesterday demanding that authorities take steps to resolve their salary anomaly issue and withdraw the Kotelawala National Defence University (KNDU) Bill.
The protest was organized by the Ceylon Teachers' Union and the Mannar District Teachers' Union. A large number of school teachers and principals took part in the protest march.
