Parliamentarians and members from the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) staged a protest against the Port City Bill at Polwatte Junction (Parliament junction) this morning (19) even though the Government has announced that it agrees to incorporate all amendments proposed by the Supreme Court. Port City Economic Commission Bill debate is to take place in parliament today and tomorrow.
