Medical equipment including PCR lab equipment, Multi Para Monitors were among the first set of medical equipment worth over Rs. 100 million donated by the Republic of Korea as a move to strengthen Sri Lanka’s effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The equipment was handed over by Ambassador of South Korea to Sri Lanka Santhush Woonjin Jeong to State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Prof. Channa Jayasumana.
Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Admiral (Prof) Jayanath Colombage and Secretary to State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Dr. R.M.S.K. Ratnayake were present at the event held at the Foreign Ministry premises recently.
