MOD votes passed by 78 majority
The votes of the Ministry of Defence were passed in Parliament this evening with 88 voting in favour and 10 against it.
All Ceylon Tamil Congress (ACTC)MP Gajen Ponanmbalam called for a division on the votes of the Defence Ministry.
Members of the SJB and several opposition parties were absent when the vote was taken.
