The Ministry of Energy has ruled out the possibility of a fuel shortage, due to the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
The Ministry said that the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has sufficient fuel stocks and that stocks also have been ordered.
The Ministry said misleading reports about a possible fuel shortage has appeared in the social media.
A short while later, the official car of the Commander of the Navy, bearing plate NAHA 5006, departed from Navy House, Longdon Place, Colombo 7.
