New department to be established to develop cinnamon industry
Cabinet approval has been granted to establish a new department for the development of cinnamon industry.
The proposal was given by the President together with the Minister of Plantation with the intention of further developing the cinnamon industry by rendering facilities for producers, and suppliers in their activities.
