All Night Mail Trains from Colombo to Jaffna and Jaffna to Colombo have been suspended following a train derailment at Poonewa in Medawachchiya this afternoon.
Altogether, four night mail trains have been cancelled for today.
Railway workers are currently working to put the train back on tracks and repair the damage railway tracks, the Railway Main Control Room stated. (PCK)
