One woman was killed and three others sustained injuries after a group of tea pluckers were attacked by wasps at an estate in Lindula yesterday.
The estate workers were admitted to the Bambarakale Estate Hospital where an 80-year-old woman who was among them died of her injuries.
The three other women who were injured have been discharged after being treated in hospital.
