Over 600,000 public sector employees opted postal voting in local election
Over 600,000 public sector employees have opted to use postal votes in upcoming local election.
According to the Commissioner General of elections, Saman Ratnayake 676,873 have registered to cast their postal votes.
The highest number is from Kurunegala District, while the second highest is from Anuradahapura District, Kandy district too have 54 012 postal voter registries while Gampaha District follows with 49,618 postal voters.
