The People's Action for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL) has reported 50 violations since the start of the silent period at midnight on September 18, up until 4:00 p.m. on September 19, 2024.
These 50 reported incidents include 30 cases of illegal election propaganda, 15 cases of maintaining illegal party offices, two incidents involving state offices acting in favor of political parties and breaching official duties, and two other incidents related to offering benefits with political motives and influencing voters. One other minor incident was also reported.
No major violence has been reported to PAFFREL during the silent period so far.
