Police have launched an investigation to arrest a man who blackmailed a public sector employee by threatening to release her nude pictures to the social media and her husband and collected money for the last four years.
The man had already collected more than Rs 2.6 million from the woman since 2019 and demanded more money when she decide to lodge a complaint.
The woman had been photographed during an affair which she had with the man.
Police said an investigation is underway and the suspect is due to be arrested.
