President Ranil Wickremesinghe returned to the country a short while ago, from the COP27 Leaders Summit in Egypt, the President’s Media Division said.
President Wickremesinghe met with World Bank President David Malpass at COP27.
The discussions focused on the challenging macro-economic & social situation in Sri Lanka.
President Malpass affirmed the Word Bank Group's support to Sri Lanka in rebuilding the economy & creating a foundation for sustainable private sector led growth, the PMD said.
