The Ministry of Agriculture announced a price reduction of Rs. 1,000 for a 50kg bag of Muriate of Potash (MOP) fertilizer popularly known as ‘Bandi Pohora’ with effect from tomorrow (July 15).
The existing price of a 50kg-bag of MOP fertilizer stands at Rs. 15,000.
Hence, the revised price of a 50kg bag of MOP fertilizer is now at Rs. 14,000, Minister of Agriculture Mahinda Amaraweera said.
