The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has decided to expel Tourism Minister Harin Fernando and Labour and Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara from the party.
A spokesman to the party said the decision was taken at last evening’s working committee meeting.
Both the Ministers hold government portfolios despite being in the opposition.
The UK government has unveiled a package of reforms to simplify imports from developing countries which allows for more garments manufactured in Sri Lanka to enter the UK tariff-free.
