SriLankan Airlines has announced a special ‘buy one and get one free’ offer for the Russian holidaymakers to visit Sri Lanka during this summer vacation period.
This offer will be valid till October 31, 2021.
This special offer would enable the Russian leisure travellers to explore numerous attractions available in Sri Lanka after the country relaxed the travel regulations to the tourists. The discounted air tickets together with special incentives offered by the Sri Lankan industry partners would indeed influence Russian holidaymakers to choose Sri Lanka as the best place to travel, SriLankan Airlines said.
Minister for Tourism Promotions and Aviation Prasanna Ranatunga and Chairman SriLankan Airlines Ashok Pathirage made the announcement in Moscow with the objective of promoting Sri Lanka as an attractive travel destination among Russian holidaymakers. This decision was taken after a discussion between local travel partners and industry leaders here in Moscow.
Meanwhile SriLankan Airlines became the first airline to open the direct air passage between the two countries on Saturday after the pandemic while returning to Russia after six years. The first aircraft landed at the BIA yesterday (1).
