The Defense Ministry has provided a time period to hand over any unlicensed guns, the Media Centre of the Ministry said yesterday.
In accordance with the Gazette No. 2318/02, the Defense Ministry has provided a time period of February 6 to March 15 to hand over any unlicensed guns.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
