The Sri Lanka Railway Department is to revise the train timetable in view of the poor track conditions.
Currently the speed of the trains have been reduced due to the track conditions.
According to the Railway General Manager W.D.Gunasinghe a decision is to be taken tomorrow.
The Sunday Times this week reported about the track conditions which has resulted to a number of derailments.
Mr Gunasinghe admitted that the derailments and accidents were happening because the tracks had worn down and needed to be replaced.
