Two persons were killed and three others were injured in a clash over a paddy land in the Pulmoddai area today, Police said.
Police said that they were looking to arrest the suspects involved in the murder.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
