Two men have been arrested over fraudulently obtaining money and important documents promising to help getting passports under the one-day service, Police said.
The suspects were arrested by Thalangama police and confiscated National Identity Cards, cash and fake tokens similar to those issued at the Department of Immigration.
A number of complaints have been lodged at the police against the duo.
