Water supply affected in several areas
The water supply in several areas including Homagama, Pannipitiya and Godagama has been affected, after a water transmission line from the Kaltuwawa treatment plant burst this monring.
Among the other areas affected are Rukmalgama, Pelanwatta and Mattegoda areas.
A car had run off the road and caused damage to the pipeline.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said repairs have commenced.
