A 33-year-old woman has been shot to death in Nedunkerni in Vavuniya, police said.
The victim, identified as Balasubramanium Sathyakala has been driving a motorbike along with her mother when she was shot.
Nedunkerni police is on the lookout for the suspect, a married man who has been having an affair with the deceased. Police said the suspect has been previously jailed over murder charges and released on bail. (Pix by N. Lohathayalan)
