Popular actress Sabitha Perera has been asked to appear before the police unit of the Presidential Commission probing state sector corruption today (Aug 1).
A spokesman for the commission said she had been asked to provide a statement over a private building in which the Agriculture Ministry is located in Battaramulla.
Ms. Perera is believed to have signed an agreement as an owner in leasing out the building to the Ministry for a monthly rent of Rs 21 million.
