All schools except 29 schools that are used for GCE A/L and Grade Five Scholarship exam activities will re-open for the third term on August 31 (Monday), the Government Information Department said. Accordingly 8 schools will be closed for GCE A/L paper marking and 5 schools for Grade Five Scholarship Exam paper marking. The Ministry of Education in a statement said schools that are being fully used for GC E A.L answer scripts evaluation will re-open for the third term on September 28 while schools used for Grade Five Scholarship Exam answer scripts evaluation will re-open on September 15. The Kuliyapitiya Central College which will be used for GCE A/L naswer scripts marking will re-open on September 15.
