Former National Selector Aravinda de Silva has left the Special Investigations Division of the Sports Ministry after recording a statement for nearly six hours over alleged claims of match fixing at the 2011 Cricket World Cup final between India and Sri Lanka.
The statement was recorded as part of the ongoing investigations into allegation levelled by former Sports Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage saying that the final of 2011 Cricket World Cup was fixed.
