The 17-year-old schoolboy and the other individual who were in custody for the death of the 5-year-old Seya Sadewmi in Kotadeniyawa, were remanded again till October 2 by the Minuwangoda Magistrate. The DNA reports on the two individuals have not been submitted to the Magistrate's Court to date. The main suspect for the crime, an individual known as 'Kondaya', was recently remanded until October 5. The mother of the 17-year-old boy has promised to seek compensation for the arrest of her son as a suspect.
