A Bangladesh Naval Ship named "Somudra Joy" arrived in the country yesterday undertaking a five day goodwill visit, Navy said. The ship was accorded a traditional welcome by the Sri Lanka Navy upon its arrival at the Colombo Port.
The 115.2m long and 13.1m wide ship carries a crew of 278. The crew is scheduled to take part in a number of events organized by the SL Navy before the ship's departure on Sunday.
