Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa who was at Welikada Prisons hospital after remanded by Kaduwela Magistrate, admitted to Out Patients Department (OPD) of the Colombo National Hospital today, hospital sources said.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
