Commissioner General of Excise Department (acting) Ariyadasa Bodaragama has been given the permanent position of Commissioner General following a decision made by the Cabinet.
Cabinet Secretary W.M.D.J. Fernando handed over the appointment letter to Mr. Bodaragama recently. Department’s Spokesman Deputy Excise Commissioner Kapila Kumarasinghe said the new Excise Chief is a special grade officer of the Department with an experience of over three decades.
