Bogambara Stadium ground to receive synthetic running track
Cabinet approval has been granted for the laying of a synthetic running track at the Bogambara Stadium ground in Kandy.
Minister Harin Fernando, in a cabinet paper, had observed that only two grounds had synthetic tracks and that both of them were located in Colombo.
Accordingly, he had pointed out that athletes required a synthetic track at the Bogambara grounds for training activities at provincial level.
