Bond Commission to resume hearings on November 2

The Commission of Inquiry (PoI) into the issuance of Treasury Bonds will resume hearing of witnesses from November 2.

The Commission's third term was to have ended today (27) but President Maithripala Sirisena extended its term again by six weeks. It now has until December 8 to conclude its probe and submit a final report. 

The Commission is headed by Supreme Court Justice K.T. Chitrasiri and also comprises Supreme Court Justice Prasanna Jayawardena and retired Deputy Auditor General V. Kandasamy.
