A proposal to provide 50,000 job opportunities for unemployed graduates and diploma holders has been approved by the Cabinet of Ministers yesterday (19).
Accordingly graduates and the diploma holders who have fulfilled the required qualifications authorized by the University Grants Commission will be eligible.
The graduates and the diploma holders have to go through a training recruited by the relevant District Secretary , Government Agent under the supervision of the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration , Home affairs , Provincial Council and Local Government.
Appointees will be provided with a training programme attached to each recognized institution.
At the end of the training period they have to serve in the given rural or remote areas in the central government or provincial government
