CDS Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne remanded until December 05
Chief of Defence staff Admiral Ravindra Wijegunaratne has been remanded till December 05 by the Colombo Fort Magistrate.
The order was issued when Admiral Wijegunaratne reported before the Magistrates Court today (Nov 28).
Admiral Wijegunaratne is alleged to have harboured 'Navy Sampath' a chief suspect involved in the abduction of eleven youths in 2008
