CEB announces times of countrywide power cuts
The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has announced a schedule for countrywide power cuts that will be imposed for the next two days.
These power cuts will be imposed on Wednesday (16) and Thursday (17).
The power cuts will be broken down into two segments: Five-and-half hours during the day and two hours at night. These will be in effect for the entire island.
According to the CEB, the power cuts will commence from 7.00am to 12.30pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm for one group and from 12.30pm to 6.00pm and 8.00pm to 10.00pm for the second group.
