Former Sri Lankan High Commissioner to United Kingdom Chris Nonis has been notified to appear before the Kollupitiya Police on July 18, regarding a complaint lodged against him, that he allegedly verbally abused and threatened a female company Chairman on May 16, 2016.
Nonis had been asked to come before the police station yesterday to record a statement, but a lawyer who appeared on his behalf told the Police his client was unable to be present as he was indisposed.
