CID arrest ex Navy officer over Avant Garde probe
The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) arrested a former Navy officer over ongoing investigations into the Avant Garde floating armoury, police said. Retired Navy Lieutenant Nilupul De Costa, who had been serving as Operations Manager of the floating armoury under previous government is expected to produce before Colombo magistrate courts shortly.
