The investigation into yesterday’s fire at the Presidential Security Division (PSD) has been handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.
The fire which broke out at the four-storeyed PSD office building down Chatham Street in Colombo left around 50 vehicles damaged. Five fire trucks had been deployed by the Colombo Fire Service Department to douse the fire.
