An individual suspected to have maintained close links with Easter Sunday attack ringleader Zahran Cassim was arrested today (May 23).
The suspect, a three-wheel driver, was arrested in Pandura by the Army.
Preliminary investigations have shown that the suspects had once served in the Army.
It is reported that several SIM cards and mobile phone had been seized from the suspect at the time of the arrest.
The arrested individual has been handed over to the Panadura South Police for further investigations.
