The Colombo High Court today sentenced an individual to death for murdering his wife and two children.
The accused Madura Manaranga de Silva a resident from Moratuwa on December 17, 2012, had strangled to death his 36-year -old wife, 3-year-old child, and one-month-old child. The Attorney General filed a case in the Colombo High Court against the murders.
The death sentence was imposed by Colombo High Court judge Vikum Kaluarachchi as the charges against the accused were proved beyond a reasonable doubt.
