The Constitutional Council (CC) is scheduled to convene tomorrow at the Speaker's Residence under the patronage of the former Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and other members of the CC are scheduled to attend, according to official Twitter handle of the Parliament.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
