Coronavirus infected persons in Sri Lanka rises to 28
The number of locals infected by the coronavirus has risen to 28 after six more cases were detected, a Governmnet Information Department statement.
Among the latest cases one of them is being treated at the Polonnaruwa hospital while four are at quarantine centres. One of them had returned from Kerala, India.
Meanwhile SriLankan airlines told some of its staff members to be under self-quarantine after a first officer was identified as one of the coronavirus confirmed cases.
