Court rejects Tissa Attanayake's application to go abroad
The Colombo High Court today rejected an application filed by former MP Tissa Attanayake seeking permission to travel overseas.
Attanayake was earlier arrested and remanded for allegedly preparing fraudulent documents which he made public during the 2015 Presidential Election.
He is currently out on bail and had applied to travel overseas to see his daughter, who is currently undertaking higher studies in Australia.
