The Colombo District court today issued a enjoining order against the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) from convening a Central Working Committee meeting without the prior permission of the chairman of the party. Prasanna Solangaarchi, represented by Thishya Veragoda and Iresh Seneviratna instructed by Lanka Dharmasri seeked the court order since the SLFP scheduled to convene Central Working Committee meeting this evening. Earlier President Maithripala Sirisena who is the head of the SLFP opposed the move to have the central committee meeting today. District magistrate Harsha Sethunga issued the court order saying that without the notification of the head of the party, a central committee meeting can not be scheduled
