Director of the Nawa Sinhale National Organization Suresh Priyasad alias 'Dan Priyasad' has been taken into custody by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) a short while ago.
It is reported that a team of CCD officers had intially visited Mr. Priyasad's place and had learnt that he was not in his residence at that time.
However, he had later surrendered before the Police following which he was taken into custody.
Dan Priyasad was arrested in order to carry out a questioning for engaging in the recent acts of violence in the country.
