Two individuals attached to the security detail of parliamentarian S B Dissanayake have been further remanded until November 25 for opening fire at two individuals last week.
The two Ministerial Security Division officers have been accused of injuring the victims by opening fire in the Polpitiya area for allegedly obstructing the parliamentarian's vehicle on November 7.
They were ordered to be remanded after being produced for an identification parade before Hatton District Court judge J Strosky yesterday (Nov 11).
