Doctor arrested in Kurunegala
A doctor whom Police believe had acquired assets in a suspicious manner was arrested in Kurunegala yesterday (May 24).
Z.S.Mohamed Safi who was attached to the Kurunegala Teaching Hospital was taken into custody by the Police last night.
Police are investigating into the assets of the doctor and the means through which he had acquired them.
