Eastern province Governor Anuradha Yahampath visited North Coast Road, Sirimapura, Thirukadaiyur areas in Trincomalee to assess disaster management mechanisms in areas that will be directly affected by cyclonic storm Burevi.
District secretaries in the province have been advised to make all arrangements including temporary relocation and providing relief to those who will be affected. She said the State has already made financial allocations for disaster relief.
